Technical Bid Coordinator
Description
As part of the growing Engineering Team here at TLI Group we are seeking a Technical Bid Coordinator to join the team and work on project proposals being prepared by the TLI Group Engineering Department.
The successful candidate will be based in either our Dublin, Tralee or Cork offices.
Travel to and from site may occasionally be required, but this will be predominantly an office-based position.
For this unique role it would be advantageous if the successful applicant can possess a level of engineering technical knowledge. The successful individual should be a strong communicator and will be proficient in the compilation of reports & presentations.

Key Responsibilities
Key tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support the Engineering department management team with activities pertaining customer Bid / Tender Requirements from new and existing customers
- Review of tender documentation
- Assessment of opportunities
- Liaison with relevant Engineering personnel
- Liaison directly with clients
- Compilation of tender submissions
- Liaison with various internal departments such as Group Bid Team, commercial, safety, operations to assist in the process of tender compilation
- Attend pre-tender and post tender meetings as required
- Creation of PowerPoint presentations for tendering
- Review all tender documentation before issue and ensure accuracy & quality
- Responsible for the maintenance and continuous updating of proposal database
Qualifications & Skills
- Relevant industry experience is desirable
- Previous relevant tendering experience would be an advantage
- Relevant Level 7 NFQ (or higher)
- Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
- An interest in developing a career in the Power Engineering Sector
- Strong technical and design process knowledge is essential
- Experience of ISO standards implementation
- Excellent team worker with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage direct reports
- Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
