The College is seeking applications for a Technical Consultant in Digital Technologies as part of the PEACEPLUS Smart Villages Network Project, to be based at our Strand Road campus.

The Technical Consultant will provide strategic and hands-on support in new digital technologies to a network of 12 innovation hubs, which are at various stages of development, some already established and active, others currently being set up. These hubs serve as community anchors to drive digital adoption, support local businesses, and foster innovation-led growth across the region.

The consultant will play a vital role in helping each hub assess and adopt new technologies, advising procurement, and delivering training and workshops tailored to local and regional needs. They will collaborate closely with hub coordinators, the NWRC innovation team, and external partners to ensure a consistent, effective, and future-focused approach.

The Smart Village Network Project (SVNP) is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

CONTRACT INFORMATION
  • Band 6 - £38,220 - £40,777 per annum
  • Fixed Term until March 2029
  • 24 days annual leave per annum

RESERVE LIST

There is a possibility that a reserve list will be retained if more applicants are deemed suitable than posts exist. In the event the successful candidate fails to take up the post or if the post is vacated within 12 months of the appointment date, or if another vacancy arises within 12 months the post may be offered to the next person on the reserve list.
