Technical Services Administrator

TECHNICAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR | €14.50 per hour

We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team at Longford Forest as Technical Services Administrator. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, this is a key role within Technical Services, working with key stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the department. They are the collator and custodian of the department statutory and mandatory compliance records. Their role involves dealing directly with the technical services team and external contractors.

In addition to this, the Technical Services Administrator is responsible for supporting the administrative needs of the Department Managers and the Technical Services Manager, including writing meeting notes, completing work permits and raising electronic purchase orders.

ABOUT YOU

A solid administration background is essential preferably in a technical environment or where you have had direct contact with technical staff / contractors.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as the role involves direct contact with the wider team and external contractors. Strong organisation and planning skills are also required, along with good attention to detail.

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines with minimal supervision

Desirable requirements:

  • A Health and Safety qualification and background

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period, on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive your contracted hours each period.

The hours for this role will generally be Monday to Friday office hours but flexibility will be required in line with business needs. You will be required to work some public/bank holidays on a rota basis.
