The Role

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Technical Services Lead Systems Engineer. Reporting to the Technical Services Systems Manager, the Lead Systems Engineers responsibilities will include

  • Providing subject matter expertise for all Aircraft Systems (excludes Avionics & Powerplant)
  • Liaising with Boeing/Airbus and equipment manufactures on resolution of technical issues
  • Providing technical support to Maintrol; Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance
  • Supporting the Systems department to deliver on their core objectives
  • Support of the Reliability section in the identification and resolution of repetitive failures across the fleet
  • Review and implementation of AD’s, SB’s and other technical documentation.
  • Review and closure of QA, ARC, ACAM and NAA findings with implementation of corrective and preventative actions.

Requirements

  • Relevant engineering or aircraft maintenance qualification
  • The successful person will have at least 5 years’ experience working in an airline/MRO in a relevant role.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of Boeing/Airbus design and maintenance.
  • A knowledge of EASA regulations – Part CAMO; Part M; Part 145; Part 21
  • AMOS experience beneficial.
  • Flexible approach, with ability to work independently and efficiently in a demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Strong time management and task prioritisation skills.
