Technician Team Manager

EZ Living Furniture was founded in Galway in 1998. We are a family run Irish retailer with stores operating nationwide, as well as a full online shopping experience offering delivery throughout Ireland. We are the largest Furniture Retailer in Ireland employing nearly 400 people.

We are delighted to announce that we are looking for a manager for our skilled team of technicians.

Our technicians are skilled experience professionals who provide best in class solutions to our customer base. They are ambassadors for our company and interact directly with customers resolving issues of varying and diverse root causes. They are an integral part of the value proposition that EZ Living Furniture presents and provides to our valued customers.

The Person

• Display excellent people skills.
• Be comfortable mentoring others.
• Ability to engage and motivate the team
• Excellent listener and excellent communicator.
• A desire to assist team members in team development.

The role

• Day to day leadership of the team.
• Monthly team meetings with the team
• Manage tms , holiday schedule and all related matters.
• Assist the team with onboarding smart routes.
• Use feedback from the team to assist with data driven decisions to drive continuous improvement and complexity reduction.
• Continue the delivery of the extraordinary service our technicians provide.
• Manage the relationship between technicians and all other stakeholders in the company particularly in the area of distribution teams and training with assembly etc……
• Weekly Monthly quarterly and yearly reporting of team related activity.
• Agree a set of KPIS for manager and team and deliver the expected results.
