Telecomms Poling Crew

We are currently seeking experienced Telecoms Poling Crew members for ongoing pole changeover work in Limerick, Ireland.

Carry out pole changeovers, including the removal of old/damaged poles and installation of new poles

Work on both overhead and underground telecoms networks

Operate pole erection equipment such as pole jacks, winches, and MEWPs safely and efficiently

Install, secure and transfer cables, ensuring proper tensioning and clearances

Complete daily risk assessments, adhere to health & safety protocols, and use full PPE

Carry out site setup, including signage, barriers, and traffic management (where applicable)

Maintain accurate records of work completed, including digital photo logs and paperwork

Communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members to ensure smooth operations

Previous experience in telecoms poling or utility pole installation (essential)

Full driving licence (BE or C1+E preferred)

Safe Pass and Manual Handling (required)

M.E.W.P. licence, Pole Top Rescue, and Working at Heights certification (preferred)

Strong understanding of site safety, lifting operations, and working around live networks

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Ability to work as part of a crew and follow clear instructions and safety protocol
