Thai and Sea Food Commis Chef / Chef de Partie

Full time Thai and Sea Food Commis Chef / Chef de Partie Required. Loom & Kiln Limited of The Milk Market, Kinsale, County Cork P17 VY24 is currently looking to recruit a Commis Chef with specialty in Thai Cuisine and Sea Food to join its very busy team.

Main roles and responsibilities include:

-Producing, preparing, and cooking authentic Thai and Sea Food using fresh and high-quality ingredients in a sanitary and timely manner

- To ensure that all menu items are prepared according to menu assembly guidelines & standard recipe and presentation specifications

-Taking a lead role in stock management and rotation including stock ordering and inventory control

-Improving and reviewing the Company’s existing menus on an ongoing basis with respect to Thai and Sea Food with the Senior Chef

-Ensuring that the Food Safety Management System is implemented, including the daily temperature schedule.

-Assisting in the completion of a weekly store audit and cleaning and organising of kitchen and equipment.

Candidates would be expected to have a minimum of two years relevant experience in working as a Commis Chef, Chef’s Assistant, or equivalent role. Experience with authentic Thai Cuisine and Sea Food is also preferable.

Remuneration: €36 605 per annum

Working Hours: 39 hours working week.
