Job Title: Tour Guide

Location: Waterford City

Employment Type: Seasonal/temporary 

Job Summary:

We are seeking seasonal Tour Guides for the House of Waterford who are enthusiastic and can provide engaging tours for our visitors. The ideal candidate will have passion to deliver the Waterford story and have excellent interpersonal skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
• A can-do attitude and well presented
• Tour Guides must have the ability to deliver the Waterford brand story with passion to all of our visitors.
• The House of Waterford welcomes visitors from many different countries during the season, and our tour guides need to be able to conduct the tour to both small and large tour groups.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a tour guide or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of the local area, including its history, culture, and key attractions.
• Ability to manage groups of varying sizes and adapt to different audiences.
• Flexible schedule, availability on weekends and evenings if needed.

Additional Requirements:

• A positive attitude and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge.
• Candidates must be fully flexible to work 5 days per week, Monday - Sunday
