Trainee Accountant

Finance Graduate Programme (3 and a half year contract)

Are you a recent Finance or Accounting graduate looking to launch your career with a global multinational or are you someone who wants to pivot into MNC?

We are recruiting for a Trainee Accountant to join a high-performing team in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience across finance, internal controls, audit, data analysis and global business operations.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will gain hands-on experience in:

• Internal control testing across key finance processes.
• Financial data analysis, reconciliations and reporting.
• Using Excel and ERP systems such as SAP.
• Reviewing risks, controls and business processes.
• Supporting internal and external audit activities.
• Working with Finance and Operations teams across global locations.
• Identifying control issues and supporting remediation and process improvements.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive attitude and genuine interest in developing a career in Finance.
