We are currently recruiting Trainee Accountants for our 2026 cohort to join our Clonakilty team, offering excellent opportunities for progression, skills development, and professional growth.
Successful candidates will gain experience across all departments while receiving exceptional training and support. They will engage with clients from an early stage and benefit from an excellent study leave and remuneration package.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile management accounts and other management reporting and bookkeeping.
- Prepare and process payroll.
- Liaise with banks, legal firms, Revenue, and other professional advisers.
- Work under the supervision of senior staff members and provide support.
- Prepare VAT returns.
- Prepare management accounts.
- Attend client premises.
- Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing with external clients, always aiming to deliver customer service excellence.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in terms of timeliness and technical competence.
- Participate in teamwork and activities that enhance business and client service standards.
- Represent the firm internally and externally in a professional manner through appearance, conduct, and attitude.
- Deliver the Xeinadin vision and values.
Key Requirements
- Expect to achieve at least a 2.1 in Accountancy or a business-related degree.
- Have obtained 420+ points at Leaving Certificate level (or equivalent).

- Possess strong communication and English language skills.
- Be enthusiastic about developing a career in accountancy.
