Trainee Underwriter

Prestige Underwriting Serviceshave an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Trainee Underwriter!

No previous insurance experience? No problem - full training will be given!​​​​​​​

What you'll be doing:

• ​​​​Review referrals from broker panel to confirm if risks acceptable and premium required.
• Review internal audits on accepted risks.
• Retention of existing broker base.
• Ensuring all underwriting is conducted within Authority limits.
• Review renewal risks and apply terms
• Dealing with broker panel queries in a professional manner
• Ensuring that trading standards are being met.
• Monitoring and keeping up to date with technical and regulatory matters
• Ensuring personal awareness and understanding of internal standards and procedures

What you'll need:

• 5 GCSE’S at grades C or above to include Maths and English or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel.
