Training Co-ordinator

The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within PAM Ireland for a Training Co-ordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Base Maintenance Training Manager/Supervisor the successful candidate will join a team join a team of highly skilled staff, with an essential part to play in safely maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world’s largest and most successful airlines.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Updating MRO employee training records on our company software AMOS.
  • Issuing training records and reports as requested.
  • Monitoring the mandatory training of MRO employees.
  • Scheduling training courses.
  • Controlling classroom usage and instructor alignment to courses.
  • Processing enrolment of staff onto training courses.
  • Responsible for archiving all paperwork from courses.
  • Maintain training registers for MRO training department.
  • Password Resets for Learning Management System.
  • Controlling Assessment Materials.
  • Responsible for notifying the management team of instructor availability.
  • Liaise with Human Resources on training and recruitment.
  • Act as a focal for correspondence between local training providers and the MRO.
  • Act as local MRO Exam Invigilator when required.
  • Sending notifications to base maintenance staff regarding courses that are currently running.
  • Assist other BM sites where designated by the BM Training Supervisor.
  • Inform the BM Training Supervisor of any corrections required to training material.
  • Co-ordinate site induction programme.
  • Act as the point of contact for Apprentice / Trainee queries.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a busy office administration role.
  • Qualification in Training or related discipline and/or previous aviation experience is desirable.
  • Excellent IT skills with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable interacting with the team through all types of communication (written, face-to-face, virtual)
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality in dealing with training-related issues.
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to change quickly.
  • A proactive, results-focused approach with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • All applicants must have unrestricted permission to work in Ireland.
