Training Content Developer

BWG Foods are recruiting an Online Training Content Developer to support the design, development and maintenance of high‑quality online training content for our retail customers.

Working closely with both the IT and the Learning & Development teams, this role will focus on creating clear, engaging and user‑friendly digital learning content.

This is a hybrid role with the primary workplace being Head Office in Tallaght. Regular attendance at the office will be required as part of this role.

Key tasks of the Online Training Content Developer will include

  • Designing, developing and updating online training content, step‑by‑step guides, and training videos

  • Translating online system processes and technical information into clear, practical, learner‑focused content

  • Working closely with Subject Matter Experts to ensure training content is accurate, current and fit for purpose.

  • Gathering feedback from users, trainers and stakeholders to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of online learning content

  • Collaborating with the wider Learning & Development team on digital learning standards and best practice

  • Assisting with ad‑hoc learning, or retail projects as they arise during the contract period

The below are pre‑requisites for the job

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly and simply

  • Experience creating online learning content, instructional materials or digital training resources

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality, user‑focused content

  • Strong IT skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems and software

  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a cross‑functional team

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple content pieces and deadlines simultaneously

  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, change‑driven environment

Job requirements

The ideal candidate will also possess the following

  • Previous experience working with retail systems or store operations

  • Knowledge and experience with Synthesia.io is an advantage

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles or instructional design best practice

  • Experience working in a retail, food retail or multi‑site operational environment

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
