Training Coordinator

An exciting opportunity awaits to join our dynamic and creative studio as an experienced Training Coordinator. This role is a part time role (20hrs per week), based in our studio in Kilkenny, Ireland.
About the role
The Training Coordinator is responsible for logging and tracking all training activities within the studio. This role involves ensuring compliance with S481 requirements by coordinating with crew members and supervisors to complete necessary tasks. The Training Administrator will maintain accurate records, follow up on training actions, and support the overall training and development programs.

What you'll do
- Log and maintain detailed records of all training activities in the training database
- Track training completion and ensure accurate documentation of employee training history
- Generate reports on training status and completion rates for HR and Finance review
- Ensure all training activities align with S481 compliance requirements
- Schedule training sessions and ensure all participants are informed of dates, times, and locations
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including materials, venues, and equipment
- The maintenance/updating of the studio's LMS system including dealing with the provider
- Maintaining open communication lines with Screen Ireland in relation to S481 and the Skills development plan
- Assist trainers and facilitators with preparation and setup for training programs
- Regularly follow up with crew members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of training tasks
- Address any issues or concerns related to training activities promptly and effectively
- Prepare regular reports on training activities, compliance status, and any outstanding tasks
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to ensure compliance
- Facilitate communication between trainers, participants, and supervisors to ensure smooth training processes
The above is not exhaustive and from time to time you may be asked to carry out other tasks.
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a training administration role or related position
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with training management systems preferred
- Knowledge of S481 compliance requirements is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Must be willing to work from our studio in Kilkenny
