The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Change professional to join our Change & Business Readiness team to support the strategic transformation and business growth agenda in Glanbia
This will be based on a 12 month engagement and we are open to hiring on a daily rate OR fixed term salaried contract
Glanbia is establishing a program of work to enable and fuel the growth of our business units through effective partnering, development of strategic functional capabilities and digitally enabled solutions and service delivery from our global shared functions.
The Transformation Change Lead plays a key role within a transformation workstream, responsible for driving change and building the functional capability needed to sustain new ways of working across the assigned area. This role works closely with the Workstream and Functional Leads to develop and execute a clear change plan, tailoring initiatives to address the people-side of change and cross-functional impacts in support of key business outcomes. A key focus is partnering with stakeholders to identify change impacts, close readiness gaps, and deliver initiatives that shift behaviours, build capability, and drive lasting adoption.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a clear change plan for the assigned area, aligned to the overall transformation framework and program objectives
- Conduct comprehensive change impact and readiness assessments to inform planning and stakeholder engagement
- Tailor and implement change initiatives that support capability building, behaviour change, and sustained adoption of new ways of working
- Act as a change partner to business and workstream leads, owning the delivery of change within the assigned area and supporting cross-functional impacts
- Collaborate with Project Lead and Workstream Lead to ensure change planning is integrated with delivery timelines, risks, and milestones
- Partner with the Communications Lead to align on key messages and ensure timely, relevant communication to all impacted stakeholders
- Work with HR/People Lead to support role transitions, workforce impacts, and training needs where applicable
- Monitor change risk, resistance, and adoption metrics; contribute to program-wide reporting and continuous improvement with insights that inform decision-making
- Identify, manage, and mitigate change risks and resistance; provide recommendations to program leadership based on functional insights
- Collaborate with the broader change & readiness team to ensure cross functional alignment, share best practices, and maintain consistency in approach
- Proactively engage with key business stakeholders through relevant Business Readiness Forums.
The skills you will bring to the team:
- Experience enabling change across large-scale transformation programs
- Experience supporting organizational design change, operating model shifts, or large company reorganizations
- Proven ability to deliver change at the functional and enterprise level, including business process, systems and behavioural shifts
- Strong project and change management skills will the ability to manage complexity and competing priorities
- Skilled in impact and readiness assessment, translating insights into actionable plans
- Demonstrated ability to build capability and support adoption through practical tools, coaching, and engagement
- Strong stakeholder management across functions, levels, and geographies, with the ability to influence and align diverse perspectives
- Solid business acumen and understanding of organizational dynamics, dependencies, and functional operations
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify risks, and support decisions with insight
- Experience navigating cross-functional dependencies and maintaining business continuity during transformation
- Clear and confident communicator – written, verbal, visual – with the ability to simplify and tailor messages for diverse audiences
- Agile, resilient, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in fast-paced transformation environments
- Experience with Workers Unions and Works Council engagement an advantage
