Transport Co- Ordinator

At Broadline Recruiters, we are seeking an experienced Transport Co-ordinator for an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity with a client of ours based in Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transport professional to join a busy and established team. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating transport operations and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily activities.

Role Requirements:

• Previous experience in transport coordination, transport planning or logistics
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience with transport management systems is an advantage
• Eligibility to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday

Duties and responsibilities:

• Follow all health and safety, ISO quality and company procedures.
• Learn and manage customer collection, delivery and quotation requests.
• Monitor transport bookings and ensure they are accurately recorded and updated in the FMS transport system.
• Liaise with customers regarding customs clearances, delivery documentation and port releases.
• Coordinate collections and deliveries, allocating company vehicles and drivers as required.
• Monitor vehicle operations and driver hours to ensure legal and operational compliance.
• Ensure all required documentation is available for hazardous goods movements.
• Handle customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Work effectively as part of the wider Transport and Logistics team.
