Trauma/maxillofacial Surgery, Registrar

The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital has recently been designated as the Major Trauma Centre for the East of Ireland.

We are looking to recruit a Registrar who will work as part of a cohesive team of NCHDs and Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maxillofacial Registrar to broaden their operative and clinical exposure to all aspects of oral & maxillofacial surgery.

The role will include participating in the daily team ward round, providing clinical care at ward level, on call duties to the emergency department, and regular theatre attendances. There are daily trauma and outpatient clinics, and formal Consultant led teaching and training opportunities in all subspecialty areas.

Candidates should have excellent communication and teamwork skills as well as an interest in improving their knowledge base.
