We are actively recruiting for a Underwriting Portfolio Management to join our well-established team based in our Dublin office. This key role will be to support the wider underwriting team with a particular focus on understanding the overall performance of the business utilising the data available.

In this role your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Identification and timely communication of Portfolio trends and risks and in-depth analysis of contributing factors.
  • Report preparation for various Board and committee meetings and ad-hoc reporting as requested
  • Implement new/enhanced portfolio monitoring and analytical methods, techniques and processes in order to enable enhanced understanding of the risks that the business is or will be writing.
  • Ensuring that such processes/reports are optimized and fully documented, Compile, track and report on monthly reinsurance activity and exposures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the wider Underwriting team, business partners, and representatives in all internal Business Functions

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to apply their expertise and for the right candidate to take on a role which will significantly develop over time. Excellent Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint skills are key as well and being able to translate the data into meaningful context with a strong underwriting narrative – therefore experience within underwriting is a must.

Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – as well as strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to happily work on individual projects as well as collaboratively with a team are key to this role.

  • Hybrid working – we’re all in the office Tuesday to Thursday each week, with Mondays and Fridays typically working from home
