Upholsterer

We are seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join our healthcare furniture manufacturing team. The role involves upholstering chairs, seating, and panels using vinyl and fabric to a high standard suitable for hospitals and care facilities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, skilled, and able to work independently in a busy workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Upholstery of healthcare furniture using vinyl and fabric
• Cutting vinyls, fabrics, and foam accurately to templates and measurements
• Stapling, gluing, assembling, and finishing upholstery components
• Repairing and reupholstering existing furniture
• Maintaining high-quality standards and infection‑control requirements
• Working independently and meeting production timelines

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years upholstery experience
• Strong experience with vinyl upholstery
• Skilled in fabric upholstery, pattern matching, cutting, and finishing
• Able to cut vinyls and foam confidently and accurately
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Own transport required
• Good attention to detail and quality workmanship

Desirable

• Experience in healthcare or commercial furniture
• Foam cutting or assembly experience
• Willingness to learn and support production improvements
