PROJECT WORKER – FAMILY MEDIATION (UPSTREAM NI)
Are you passionate about supporting young people before they reach crisis point?
This is an exciting opportunity to join MACS as part of the Upstream NI project, an innovative schools-based homelessness prevention programme designed to identify and support young people at risk before they experience housing instability or family breakdown.The Family Mediation Project Worker will provide targeted early intervention through family mediation and strengths-based support to young people identified through the Upstream screening process. Working collaboratively with schools, families and partner agencies, the role aims to strengthen family relationships, improve communication and help young people remain safely at home wherever appropriate.
Using trauma-informed and person-centred approaches, the postholder will empower young people and their families to develop sustainable solutions that improve wellbeing, resilience and long-term outcomes.

Posts Available: x1 Belfast: Full Time, 5 Years Fixed Term (with possibility of extension, subject to funding)
Salary: £28,974 per annum
Benefits: MACS Pension contribution of 4% of salary; up to 41 days annual leave (including bank holidays); enhanced paid leave for Sick, Maternity and Carers leave; paid training days per year; Flexible and remote working options available.
