Vehicle Fitter

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our WAV Production team, as a 

Fitter

You will play a pivotal part in our mission to provide adapted vehicles that enhance mobility for individuals with disabilities, contributing to our legacy of service excellence. As Fitter you will be responsible for:

• Fitting of conversion, ramps and restraint systems to meet customer specifications
• Fitting/wiring other accessories including electric reels, winches, sidesteps
• General welding on components during vehicle conversion
• Support ongoing initiatives within the company
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment

Experience & Skills

• previous demonstrable experience in a similar role
• fitting experience
• basic welding experience (advantageous) although training will be provided
• a great work ethic
• excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• ability to work to under pressure in order to achieve agreed timescales.
