What to Expect

As a Vehicle Readiness Specialist at Tesla, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer delivery experience. Your responsibilities will include vehicle preparation, vehicle inspections, effective parking management, and active collaboration with your team to enhance pre-delivery processes. You will ensure that every customer vehicle is meticulously prepared and ready for delivery. 

You are part of a larger sales, service and delivery team who works closely and flexibly on all operations. You are expected to cooperate frequently and display a one-team mentality to achieve sales and delivery targets. 

What You’ll Do

  • Use Tesla proprietary software to log damages to vehicles due to transportation damage, and ensure that the paperwork is submitted correctly for claims 
  • Perform a technical inspection on all vehicles prior to delivery, document and rectify any issues that are found 
  • Ensure that the vehicles are delivery-ready: license plate holders attached, customer accessories installed, plastic removed, etc.
  • Manage vehicle arrivals, inventory across multiple locations, and safely move and charge vehicles as part of the pre-delivery process 
  • Clean vehicles in compliance with Tesla’s standards before delivery 
  • Operate equipment such as buffers, hoses, vacuums, etc. to perform detailed cleaning 
  • Apply protective finishes to the exteriors of our customers’ cars 
  • Effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional quality 
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support business operations 

What You’ll Bring

  • Full UK driving licence which should be held for 2 years and over with no more than 6 points 
  • Right to work in the UK 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Able to communicate, read and write effectively in English
  • You thrive collaborating closely in diverse teams and can work in shifts to support your team.
  • Strong work ethic with a proven record of reliability and commitment 
  • Proactive team player with the ability to foster collaborative relationships 
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed performance goals
