What We Do:
We specialise in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Europe. We also offer turnkey design, build, and operate solutions for commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating solutions and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public bodies throughout UK & Europe.
Team Overview:
The Stores & Warehousing team manages the receipt, storage, and distribution of all materials and equipment required for our projects. By maintaining organised inventory control and efficient stock management, the department ensures that the right materials are available at the right time, supporting smooth project workflows and reducing delays. Their role is key to operational efficiency and effective supply chain management.
Role Overview:
The Warehouse Operative will play a key role in the day-to-day running of warehouse operations, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability are essential. The role involves both manual handling and the use of warehouse equipment, with a strong focus on maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspection: Unload deliveries, check for accuracy and quality of goods, and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Order Picking & Packing: Accurately pick items according to order specifications and securely pack them for dispatch.
- Stock Management: Organise and store inventory in the correct locations. Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory control.
- Dispatch & Loading: Prepare and label shipments, load goods onto vehicles safely and in line with delivery schedules.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, maintain a clean and organized work area, and use equipment responsibly.
- Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse tools and machinery such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if trained), and barcode scanners.
- Documentation & Reporting: Complete relevant paperwork and digital records accurately, including delivery notes, stock movements, and inventory updates.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across departments to meet daily targets and improve warehouse efficiency.
Essential Criteria
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential).
- Physically fit and capable of lifting/moving heavy items.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- A proactive, positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
