Warehouse Operative

Role Description

The opportunity has arisen for a full-time Warehouse Operative to work in Avoca Central Stores, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow. This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start, working 40 hours per week, on a 5 over 7 basis.

Responsibilities

• Stock control through use of the EPOS system.
• Picking orders through use of our replenishment system.
• Packing and processing of orders.
• Working within a team to ensure dispatch is running efficiently.
• Processing orders from an end-to-end process.
• Goods inwards and Outwards.
• Loading and unloading of vans.
• Ad-hoc duties as determined by the Manager.

Requirements

• Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is a distinct advantage.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Experience working with wireless handhelds devices in a warehouse environment.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy and adhering to Avoca’s high standard of service.
• Experience in cycle counting and full stock takes.
• Goods inwards & outwards experience.
• Meridian EPOS knowledge preferable.
