Warehouse Operative / Merchandiser

The Fruit People are looking for Warehouse Operatives/Merchandisers to join our team.

This is a dual role, typically one day per week as Merchandiser (on customers sites) and two/three as Warehouse Operative (based in our Warehouse in D11) and may vary from week to week due to business requirements.

Working days are Thursday to Tuesday.

The role!

• Picking products, checking quality & packing each order based on the customer requirements
• Loading & unloading of goods & packing orders onto pallets in a safe manner
• Merchandising on customer site, stocking kitchen areas and merchandising to ensure each display looks perfect
• Weekly stock counts and management of stock levels to ensure that required levels are met
• Housekeeping - ensuring that hygiene in the warehouse area is kept to a high standard
• Working as part of the team and with team leaders and managers in a fast paced environment

What we are looking for!

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment (picking/packing)/Merchandising
• Focused and respectful with good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• A European citizen or have a valid work visa to work in Ireland
• Physically fit with a good work ethic
• A full clear Irish/European Driving License is an advantage.
