Job Purpose

The Warehouse Operator will be based on the Recordati Site in Cork. This diverse role will involve interactions with internal partners and external suppliers. This role will report directly into the Production Manager and be involved in various aspects of site activities and will play a key role in the successful daily operation of the site.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Goods-In.

  • Receipt and handling of Raw Materials and finished production in accordance with site procedures.
  • Usage of SAP system to accurately record all movements of GMP materials.
  • Ensure warehouse and surrounding areas are maintained to a high standard, and housekeeping procedures are adhered to.
  • Interaction with Production/Manufacturing Coordinator around deliveries to site of Raw Materials and Solvents.
  • Receive and distribute site deliveries.
  • Monitoring and stock control of GMP consumables and manufacturing materials.

Shipments

  • In collaboration with internal partners prepare the outbound shipment of finished product to Recordati customers in adherence to orders received scheduled dates.
  • Loading and unloading of API shipments in accordance with site procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain a forecast for shipments of finished production for a 12-month period.
  • Coordinate the delivery of Raw Materials from sister sites as per production forecast.

Other:

  • Working closely with the Procurement Specialist to in ensure minimum stock levels are maintained, received goods are recorded on SAP and monthly reports are completed.
  • Working with the Environmental Specialist on coordination of waste collections and maintaining DGSA records.
  • Provide Cover for Production Operative duties when needed.
Required Education
  • A qualification in Procurement, Logistics or Operations would be an advantage.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Experience of SAP or similar system
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel.
  • Experience with operation of Fork Lift (Counter Balance).
  • White/Yellow belt in Lean Six Sigma would be an advantage.
  • 3 + years in a similar role, ideally in a regulated environment.
Required Behaviours and Competencies
  • Self-starter, well organised, proactive and reliable with excellent communication skills.

  • Fluent English
