Activ8 Solar Energies is seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Picker & Material Handler to support our growing operations. This position will be based out of our warehouse facility in Carrickmacross, Co. The Opportunity:

As a Warehouse Picker & Material Handler you will be responsible for picking installation jobs and van stock, managing inbound and outbound materials, maintaining accurate stock levels, and supporting smooth warehouse operations using our warehouse management systems. 

Responsibilities includes: 

• Accurately pick and prepare installation job packs and van stock for field teams 

• Receive, off-load, inspect, and correctly store inbound deliveries 

• Operate a forklift for material movement and storage (licence required or ability to obtain) 

• Maintain accurate stock levels through regular stock counts and system updates 

• Use warehouse systems, email, and basic Excel to manage stock and job requirements 

• Assist with general warehouse duties as required in a fast-moving environment 

Qualifications/Key Skills: 

• Proven experience in a warehouse role involving picking, stock control, and goods handling 

• Must hold a valid Full Driver’s Licence 

• Experience using warehouse systems and basic IT tools (email, Excel, stock software) 

• Forklift experience essential (or willingness to be trained) 

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and accountability 

• Organised, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently 

• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling safely 

• A proactive attitude and ability to adapt to changing daily priorities
