Job Overview


As Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a central role in supporting the Warehouse Manager with the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. You will oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of products, supplies, and materials, to achieve operational excellence.

Main Activities/Tasks
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping pharmaceutical products and materials.
  • Ensure accurate and timely receipt of inbound shipments, verifying quantities and quality of products received against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Implement and enforce strict adherence to Good Distribution Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and other relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse processes, ensuring compliance
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Logistics, to support cross-functional initiatives and resolve issues related to inventory management and order fulfilment.
  • Liaise with Procurement in order to prepare materials that are to be sent out for external treatment
  • Support the Warehouse Manager with continuous improvement projects including the MiM Automation project.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety among warehouse staff.
  • Any other duties as reasonably required.

Essential Criteria:
  • 2 years experience within a GDP warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A willingness to learn and drive improvement. 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in performing warehouse tasks, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours and weekends as needed to support warehouse operations.
  • Current counterbalance and reach forklift licence.

Location: Newry

Additional Information:
