A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following posts and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:-
Waste Operations Administrative Assistant (Transfer Station)
37 hours per week
Scale 4, SCP 9-13, £28,153 to £30,023 per annum
Location: Waste Depot, Ballymena
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Provide efficient and effective administrative, financial and operational support to the Waste Service within the depot, designated transfer station and weighbridge; ensuring compliance with corporate and departmental procedures, legislative requirements and health and safety standards.
Maintain accurate operational records and management information to support the development, promotion and continuous improvement of Council’s waste management services; to maximise service performance and customer satisfaction.
Deliver a high standard of customer care by processing information accurately and within agreed timescales contributing to service continuity, organisational objectives and performance targets.

The shortlisting panel will base shortlisting decisions on the information contained within the Essential Criteria narrative sections of the application form.
