We are entering an exciting phase of digital expansion and are seeking a skilled Web Manager to enhance, develop, and optimise our online experience.

Role Overview

The Web Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management, performance, and development of TRI Equestrian’s website and online store.

This role requires a blend of technical website management, content oversight, digital merchandising, e-commerce strategy, and data-driven optimisation. You will work closely with marketing, retail, suppliers, and operations teams to ensure that our online presence is engaging, accurate, efficient, and commercially strong.This role is ideal for someone with strong digital experience, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for growth in the e-commerce space.

Key Responsibilities

Website & E-Commerce Management

  • Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and optimisation of TRI Equestrian’s website and e-commerce platform.
  • Ensure product listings, descriptions, pricing, images, categories, and stock statuses are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Manage online merchandising, homepage updates, banners, campaigns, and promotional content.
  • Monitor site performance, uptime, and technical issues; liaise with developers or platform providers when needed.
  • Implement UX improvements to enhance navigation, shopping experience, and accessibility.

Content Management

  • Create, upload, and maintain engaging web content including product descriptions, articles, landing pages, and brand features.
  • Maintain consistent tone, accuracy, and high-quality presentation across the site.
  • Support content creation for campaigns, blogs, and educational equestrian content where required.

Digital Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on online promotions, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.
  • Coordinate SEO activities (on-page optimisation, meta data, keyword targeting, internal linking).
  • Support paid advertising strategy with optimised landing pages and product feeds.
  • Monitor customer behaviour, search trends, and opportunities for growth.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate, average order value, bounce rates, and revenue performance.
  • Produce regular reports and insights to inform commercial decisions.
  • Identify issues, trends, and opportunities to increase online sales and customer engagement.

Customer Experience & Operations

  • Work with customer service, warehouse, and retail teams to maintain smooth order flow and minimise errors.
  • Support customers by ensuring information, FAQs, delivery details, and product guides are clear and accurate.
  • Evaluate and improve the checkout process, product search functionality, and site usability.

Platform & Technical Support

  • Coordinate with external web developers, hosting providers, or platform partners on updates and fixes.
  • Assist in the integration of new tools, modules, and e-commerce enhancements.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance, cookie management, and secure handling of customer data.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • 2–4+ years’ experience in a Web Manager, E-commerce Manager, Digital Content Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar).
  • Proficiency with CMS systems and basic HTML/CSS familiarity.
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, and e-commerce reporting.
  • Good knowledge of SEO fundamentals.
  • Strong content writing, editing, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work across teams and manage multiple deadlines.

Desirable

  • Experience in retail or a product-based online business.
  • Familiarity with product feed management (Google Shopping, Meta Product Catalog, etc.).
  • Basic Photoshop, Canva, or image-editing skills.
  • Interest in equestrian products or the equestrian industry (advantage but not required).
