WGH Clinical Nurse Manager / Medical

The post of CNM 2 has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area.

The main responsibilities are: quality assurance, resource management, staffing and staff development, practice development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership.

The CNM2 role is responsible for the management, care and treatment of service users, to ensure that the optimum standard of care is provided within the designated area(s) of responsibility.

Post Specific Requirements

• Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in Acute Medical Nursing as relevant to the role.

• Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in Nursing Management as relevant to the role.

• Demonstrate leadership ability and the skills to initiate and implement quality improvement projects that enhance patient experience at Wexford General Hospital.
