WGH Graduate Staff Midwife

The Staff Midwife -

Will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of nursing care practiced in the relevant care setting.

Will provide holistic, person-centred care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for service users.

Will work within a multidisciplinary team in providing a safe, effective, high quality midwifery service to women, babies and their families.

They are professionally accountable to the Director of Midwifery or designated officer and will report to the Clinical Midwife Manager 2 or designated officer.
