Wexford General Hospital is currently recruiting a Grade V HIPE Coder.

The HIPE Department in Wexford General Hospital is responsible for ensuring that all clinical data is accurately captured using ICD-10-AM coding, efficiently and within given National Deadlines. The HIPE Department will work closely with all clinical and non-clinical partners in delivering the best service for all.

The successful candidate will ensure that all administrative and clinical information relevant to each inpatient and day case admission is captured, translated into medical terminology using ICD-10-AM 10thEdition, and enter codes onto HIPE Portal.
