Join us as Wholesale Fibre Product Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Wholesale Fibre Product Manager to make a real impact as part of the exciting, strategic and creative Roaming and Interconnect Squad, within the Wholesale Tribe. You will be responsible for supporting consumer and business teams in the delivery of FTTP and ensuring they have all the necessary capabilities and support to be successful in growing Three’s Fibre base.
As the Wholesale Fibre Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing the Three FTTP portfolio of products that will be sold via our commercial sales channels. You will be responsible for managing our Wholesale Fibre supplier, analysing market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure we have the FTTP products that meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.
The role of the Wholesale Fibre Product Manager is to lead and provide E2E product lifecycle management of the FTTP portfolio and drive Three requirements with our Wholesale Fibre supplier that will support our Fibre offering.
What else it involves:
- Ownership of the commercial relationship with our Wholesale Fibre supplier. This includes owning the Fibre budget, managing target delivery, driving product and process improvements, ensuring OLAs/SLAs are adhered to and contract commitments are delivered against.
- Collaborate closely with Voice and Broadband Tribe, Retail Channel, B2B Tribe, Service Channel, Finance, Legal and Regulatory and other teams to align efforts and meet business goals.
- Track and analyse key performance metrics to measure the success of product performance and adjust strategies as needed to drive FTTP.
- Responsible for formulating annual budget, tracking performance and updating as part of business quarterly reforecasting process. This will involve collaboration with Voice and Broadband Tribe to agree forecasts.
- Represent Three Ireland within Industry Forums inputting Three requirements where required and ensuring the business are meeting regulatory requirements.
- Assist with month end reconciliations.
- Manage supplier contracts and ensuring that Three are receiving the most value for money for supply of services and all contract commitments are being delivered.
- As required provide support to other Wholesale/Business Projects.
- Responsible for putting the necessary alerts in place to trigger potential fraudulent and/or arbitrage activity and take corrective action as required.
- Maintain all Opex & Capex expenditure in line with budgets ; raise, track and accept PO’s as part of managing department spend.
The skills we're looking for:
- The candidate must have strong commercial acumen, must have a clear understanding of profitability and the management of P&L, OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Technical acumen is important; the candidate must have a high level of competence and understanding of FTTP and VOB (Voice over Broadband) so they can effectively liaise with technical teams internally and externally as required.
As the role requires management of a diverse range of internal stakeholders, external stakeholders and third-party suppliers, strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. - An understanding of the Wholesale Fibre Market and the regulatory environment.
- Experience of working in an Enterprise Agile environment will be an advantage and the candidate will work across Wholesale, Voice & Broadband and Business Tribes.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in telecommunications industry, experience of telecoms, fixed line, broadband
- Experience in commercial/financial management and budget management.
- Experience in project management is beneficial
- Educated to degree level or suitable equivalent experience
