Workshop Controller

Land Rover Waterford is currently seeking a Workshop Controller to join our aftersales team. This is a key role responsible for managing workflow within the workshop and ensuring vehicles are repaired efficiently, correctly, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

· Control and monitor workflow through the workshop on a daily basis

· Work closely with Technicians and Service Advisors to plan and prioritise work

· Ensure all vehicles are repaired correctly and within allocated time

· Monitor job progress to ensure vehicles are:

  • Completed on time
  • Test driven where required
  • Cleaned and prepared prior to customer handover

· Identify and resolve workflow delays or issues

· Support increased workshop productivity and assist in achieving monthly targets

· Communicate with customers when required regarding job progress

· Work effectively as part of a team to deliver a high standard of customer service

Requirements:

· Strong organisational and communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced workshop environment

· Team-focused with a proactive approach to problem solving

· Previous experience in an automotive workshop or dealership environment is desirable

· Mechanical experience is not essential, but would be an advantage
