Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled VPC Planner to join our Customer Operations Team. As a VPC Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning all workshop activities related to vehicle preparation in respect of our customer needs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the correct vehicles are scheduled as per customer demands and work closely with VPC managers and the Long-Term Planning Team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for optimising processes within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive workshop schedules and plans for vehicle preparation activities including pre dispatch inspections, repairs, vehicle conversions, fleet fitouts and paint shop activities.
Coordinate with the operations team to prioritise and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets and customer deadlines.
Liaise with workshop managers, customer operations, business development and transport planning to ensure timely planning of workflow in line with demand and seasonality.
Ensure the data in respect of work types and timing is accurate in the system
Work closely with Customer Operations, the Long-Term Planning Team, Sales and VPC Managers to ensure the correct resources are in place to deliver the work schedule
Generate reports on workshop performance, including productivity metrics, resource utilisation, and turnaround times.
Continuously evaluate and improve planning processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Familiarity with workshop management software and tools for scheduling and planning management.
Excellent attention to detail and practical approach to problem solving skills with a a commitment to upholding quality standards
Flexible attitude to working hours to support the needs of the business
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a changing environment
Ideally an appropriate tertiary education certificate / diploma
Full clean driving licence
Requirement to occasionally travel to operational sites.
