Title: Deli Assistants Full Time & Weekend Staff Location: Ballyconnell, County Cavan Alannah’s Gala Ballyconnell is growing and we are currently looking for a number of energetic and driven Deli Assistants to work in our busy forecourt in Ballyconnell, Co Cavan. Responsibilities: • Provide a fast, friendly and efficient level of customer service. • Prepare and assist with food preparation when required. • Set up, replenish counters, and merchandising the deli. • Ensure the regular and systematic cleaning and maintenance of the equipment in all areas of the Deli both front of house and in the kitchen. • To monitor and deliver the HACCP program for the Deli to ensure effective standards in line with hygiene and quality regulations. • Always present the entire Deli to the highest standard. • Ensure deliveries are checked off in line with goods inwards procedures. • Work as part of the team to provide the highest standard of food preparation quality, presentation and service. As we continue to expand to provide additional services to meet the needs of those we support, we currently have a support worker opportunity within our day service. The support worker plays a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support to those that attend our day service. The purpose of the role is to empower individuals to live fulfilling lives by promoting independence, building on their strengths, and supporting them to engage in meaningful activities both within the service and in the wider community. The role involves providing direct support with daily routines, communication, social interaction, and personal development, while always upholding the dignity, rights, and choices of the individuals we support. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about helping autistic adults live fulfilling, independent lives. You’ll need to be a great communicator, and committed to promoting choice, dignity, and inclusion. System Protection Performance Specialist - Customer Connections
Position description The role of System Protection Performance Specialists- Customer Connections is to ensure that the protection on the network operates to the required distribution standard. Ensures that parameters are set in line with Conditions Governing standards and Protection policies. The role encompasses a range of technical power system studies, including but not limited to the connection of various generation, synchronous and non-synchronous, to the system. Knowledge of low carbon technologies and their impact on the power system is desirable. Assistance with the training and development of junior staff is part of this role. In addition, SPP-Customer Connections is responsible to investigate protection operations, system faults and advise operations & delivery on protection issues. The role will require becoming expert in the range of protection relays and software systems in use on the Distribution Network. Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Apprentice
Are you Mechanically minded person that likes to fix things and good with tools and machinery. We are looking mechanically minded person to work on our fleet of trailers for general repairs. The job will be to assist the Mechanics to carry out general repairs and maintenance onsite in the garage workshop. Ideally you will have a Mechanical background currently or planning to do apprenticeship and have previous knowledge using hand tools, Spanners etc. If you have an enthusiasm for a mechanical career this is the job for you.
