Cavan Autism Centre Location: Latt, Cavan Salary Scale: €28,100 - €33,400 Contract: Maternity Post - 37.25 hours per week Report to: Manager and Supervisor The Cavan Autism Centre CLG provides an autism specific day service that enables each individual to develop and reach their full potential in a caring and safe environment. As we continue to expand to provide additional services to meet the needs of those we support, we currently have a support worker opportunity within our day service. The support worker plays a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support to those that attend our day service. The purpose of the role is to empower individuals to live fulfilling lives by promoting independence, building on their strengths, and supporting them to engage in meaningful activities both within the service and in the wider community. The role involves providing direct support with daily routines, communication, social interaction, and personal development, while always upholding the dignity, rights, and choices of the individuals we support. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about helping autistic adults live fulfilling, independent lives. You’ll need to be a great communicator, and committed to promoting choice, dignity, and inclusion. We are an inclusive employer and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds, including those with different abilities. Requirements: · Desirable – QQI Level 7/8 in Social Care or related field. A Level 6 in Special Needs Assisting with experience in a similar role may also be considered. · Desirable - Registered with CORU or in the process of registration. · Additional qualification in supporting adults with Autism or Challenging Behaviour would be desirable. · Full, clean driving license is essential. · Minimum 2 years+ experience working with adults on the Autism Spectrum. · Strong IT skills A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign. System Protection Performance Specialist - Customer Connections
Position description The role of System Protection Performance Specialists- Customer Connections is to ensure that the protection on the network operates to the required distribution standard. Ensures that parameters are set in line with Conditions Governing standards and Protection policies. The role encompasses a range of technical power system studies, including but not limited to the connection of various generation, synchronous and non-synchronous, to the system. Knowledge of low carbon technologies and their impact on the power system is desirable. Assistance with the training and development of junior staff is part of this role. In addition, SPP-Customer Connections is responsible to investigate protection operations, system faults and advise operations & delivery on protection issues. The role will require becoming expert in the range of protection relays and software systems in use on the Distribution Network.
