We are a leading lighting consultancy practice, based outside Gorey. We specialise in the design of lighting and associated infrastructure. We want to recruit a design technician. While knowledge of lighting technology would be welcome, it is not essential as appropriate training will be provided. After training, the successful applicant will assist in the design process. This role will suit a person with experience in an engineering or other technical field. The candidate will be educated to at least NFQ level 6 in a related technical discipline. New entrants to the public sector are required to commence employment on Point 1 (€32,299.08).Fisheries Officers can also earn up to €3,910.76 during their six-month contract by way of an unsocial hours allowance. More information on pay and allowances will be provided at interview. Candidates should note that salary will not be subject to negotiation and the rate of remuneration may be adjusted from time to time in line with Government pay policy. New entrants to the public sector will start on Point 1 subject to Haddington Road Agreement and subsequent Government Agreements.
