The ideal candidate will have/be: - 2 years` experience in a Fresh Food Department is desirable - 1 years` experience in a Supervisor/Manager role is desirable • Excellent communication skills • Good delegation skills • An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets • Passion for fresh food. Main duties: • Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative • Oversee and ensure the smooth running of the fresh departments by prioritising and delegating the workload appropriately • Set, monitor and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste and other KPIs as agreed with Store Manager • Control stocktaking and overheads as per fresh budget • Foster good working relationships among the team • Hold regular fresh food meetings and communicate relevant details and results to the team • Manage employee performance, giving regular feedback, recognition and encouragement • Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and consistent with store policy • Manage employee rostering and annual leave for fresh departments • Ensure merchandising and presentation of the fresh department is of the highest standard at all times and in accordance with relevant store planograms and guidelines.
Bakery Assistant
Main purpose of the role: Ensure the Bakery Department operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provides our customers with excellent quality products and services. Driver
Main purpose of the role: Responsible for ensuring the efficient and professional delivery of customer`s online/telephone shopping orders. Interact with each customer with great pride, passion and care. The ideal candidate will have/be: • Previous experience as a delivery driver is desirable • Full clean driver`s licence is essential • Excellent organisational and time management skills • Excellent communication skills • Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment • Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
