Phlebotomist

With this exciting expansion of our clinic network, we are currently looking to recruit a phlebotomist based in Bluewater, to drive this innovative venture. With the exciting expansion of our Randox Health clinic network we are currently looking to recruit a phlebotomist based in Kent Bluewater. The successful applicant will join a multi-disciplinary team and play an active role in providing exceptional service to clients. This role will be responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience whilst in the clinic, ensuring they feel comfortable at all times, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. The phlebotomist may also be required to travel to client sites/pop up clinics to take samples on occasion. You will contribute to the business by driving sales and will endeavour to grow awareness of the Randox Health brand by promoting our extensive range of preventative health testing. You will be enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and a high level of attention to detail. High energy is a must, and you must be willing to participate in internal and external promotional activity and events, as well as conduct daily appointments for a wide variety of different health checks. For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage. In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. This is a part time role for a total of 24 hours over 3 days. Working weekends would be required. The Role:
Physiotherapist, Paediatric Palliative Care
The Role The post holder will be a member of the multidisciplinary palliative care team within the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice. He/she will carry out all duties associated with the provision of therapy including the undertaking of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and review of children with life limiting or life-threatening conditions, many of whom will have associated complex healthcare needs. He/she will contribute to the development, supervision and governance of children’s palliative care physiotherapy. He/she will contribute and where appropriate lead on projects, teaching initiatives and research and will be responsible for their own personal and professional development through liaison with the Head/Deputy Head of Children’s Hospice Services, Care Team Manager and colleagues. He/she will take a lead role in the moving and handling training for care team staff and other staff groups as appropriate. The Organisation The Northern Ireland Hospice is a local charity offering specialist respite, symptom management and end of life palliative care to infants, children, and adults across Northern Ireland. This is a part time position, working 18 hours per week across 2 days on a rota basis between 8am-4pm.
