The Role: The Asset Management and Sustainability area is responsible for the development of asset policies, strategies and plans to determine the significant investment required into Ireland’s infrastructure. The area drives investment and the Sustainability and Innovation agenda for the organisation and leads on Environmental Regulation and Compliance activities, ensuring the quality of water and wastewater is continuously monitored. The Asset Management function is responsible for strategic planning, prioritisation, and development of Uisce Éireann’s Capital Works pipeline. The function plays a key role in promoting collaboration and co-ordination of activities across the three asset functions as well as providing environmental assessment and management expertise across Uisce Éireann The Asset Planning team is accountable for the timely delivery of essential, value for money water services Infrastructure for Ireland. The scope of the team's responsibility covers 5 main areas: Housing Growing, Capex Pipeline, Risk Maintenance and Safety, Critical Assets and Leakage. Reporting to the Wastewater Network Performance Analyst, the Wastewater Network Performance Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the enhancement of asset information and modelling data to provide greater confidence to assessments undertaken on the performance and capacity of wastewater networks. The Role: The Asset Operations function forms the cornerstone of service delivery to customers, protecting the environment and meeting regulatory standards as well as managing the majority of operational expenditure. The Asset Operations function has responsibility for operational and maintenance strategy, policies, planning and standard operating procedures for Water and Wastewater operations both nationally and regionally, ensuring that value for money and customer service is delivered. The Workflow Functional Area is responsible for the management and monitoring of all outdoor work through the full work order lifecycle from planning to closure. This includes overseeing the initiation, dispatch and progression of work orders, processing of service requests, allocating adequate resources, identification of bundling opportunities, identification of work pre-requisites, creation of work orders to be progressed and dispatched to the field, the management of the logistics and stores to enable effective and efficient inventory control, Outage notification & processing and complaint resolution. Reporting to the Network Operations Technical Lead, the Network Operations Supervisor will oversee a team of Coordinators and Officers and will be responsible for managing all Workflow tasks associated with Outage Management / Water Unfit for Consumption processes arising from our regulatory obligations. The role will require very close liaison with colleagues in Asset Operations, Customer Operations and Assets Programmes to ensure effective end to end service delivery. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintenance and Operation of Procurement System • Approve purchase orders in line with delegated authority, and review and release purchase orders to suppliers. • Conduct daily requisition transfers, ensuring coding is correct and approval/s are appropriate, and budget is available. • Work with College Departments to ensure that Goods Acceptance is conducted on a timely basis. • Remove obsolete contract information. • Assist end-users with Agresso queries. • Train small groups of staff/individuals on Agresso Purchasing. • Liaise with end users to resolve queries and/or purchasing issues. • Provide Agresso reports to line manager.
