Sandymount Our Sandymount office is located in a vibrant seaside village with a welcoming community feel. The office is served by the DART commuter train and central bus routes, making it easily commutable from the city and surrounding areas. Contract Type: Permanent Post Contract Hours: Full and Part Time Posts Salary Scale: €57,771 – €68,387 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments) This pay scale is subject to increases in 2025 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations. Annual Leave Entitlement : 33 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service. Overview of the Post: To work as a senior member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children and families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a speech and language therapy support to an assigned caseload which may include children and their families on the community team and/or an assigned special school team. This will include assessment diagnostics and intervention, clinical and performance supervision and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities attending our service. Services are provided to children aged 0 – 18 years with physical, sensory, and/or learning disabilities, and/or developmental delay. Remuneration The salary scale for the post is (as at 01/08/2025): €34,240; €36,064; €37,424; €37,991; €38,231; €38,796; €39,376; €39,832; €40,379 New appointees to any grade start at the minimum point of the scale. Incremental credit will be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland and abroad (Department of Health Circular 2/2011). Support the provision of a high quality, safe and professional customer focussed service. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Service needs will require movement of staff between wards/departments/relief duties as directed. The duties of the Hygiene Attendant will be dependent on the service needs of the care setting.
