As part of the Executive Management Team, the Director of Safeguarding, Advocacy and Rights will lead and direct the ongoing strategic development and management of person-centered supports that promote active citizenship and inclusion, reflective of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) and the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015 (ADMCA). Essential Criteria. · Minimum Qualification of a QQI Level 8 in relevant field (Social Sciences, Nursing and Allied Health, Human Rights). · In depth knowledge and experience of Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Children’s First and Trust in Care polices. · Knowledge/understanding of national policies, standards and regulations that impact on the Disability Sector. · Proven experience of implementing a Rights Based Approach in the provision of care and support · Experience at senior level in developing and implementing policy, leading change, managing teams. · In depth knowledge of the UNCRPD and the ADMCA 2015 and how they are relevant to Avista · Experience of the development of policies, procedures and guidelines specific to Safeguarding, Advocacy and Rights · Knowledge and experience of issues regarding the barriers to inclusion and participation for disabled people · Full driver’s license and access to vehicle. Cleanroom Microbiologist
Job Overview The Cleanroom Microbiologist will be mainly based in our manufacturing areas and will be responsible for gathering samples from these areas for quality assurance purposes. This is an important role which requires dedicated individuals who can work largely unsupervised using their own initiative, who are capable of employing good time-management and organisational skills. Key tasks of the role include: Sampling of pharmaceutical cleanrooms Recording of data onto a database system The successful candidate will be required to work a shift pattern which, depending on Production requirements will involve either 8 hour or 12-hour rotations which will include nightshifts and weekends. No prior experience is required as full training will be given for this role. Other tasks carried out on a non-routine basis include but are not limited to recommissioning and reclassification testing, DOP testing of HEPA filters, identification of isolates recovered from pharmaceutical cleanrooms. Purpose of The Job As part of the Energy office team, the role of the Balcas Energy Administrator will involve supporting the Customer Support Team Lead in managing customer relationships. This will include phone calls to and from customers, processing orders, dealing with customer queries and complaints as well as supporting the field sales team. The role will also entail administering the complete order-to-cash process for Balcas Energy customers – ensuring that all orders are managed effectively to meet agreed delivery dates and quantities.
