Our Service - BreastCheck (The National Breast Screening Programme) BreastCheck – The National Breast Screening Programme - plays a central role in diagnosis and management of breast cancer in Ireland, providing free mammograms every two years to women aged 50 to 69. Survival has improved because of screening, symptomatic detection and improved treatment options. As a Mammographer, you will be closely involved with both the quality of the outcome of the service and each woman’s satisfaction with the service. We offer both Full-time and part-time opportunities. Consideration will be given to flexible working arrangements. We are currently accepting applications from suitably qualified candidates for our 4 units in Cork, Dublin & Galway. BreastCheck has 4 screening units in hospitals and 24 mobile clinics across the country. Life as a Mammographer (Senior Radiographer) You'll be part of a multidisciplinary breast screening team and be responsible for the monitoring and quality assurance tests for specialist mammography equipment to ensure that it's used safely within set parameters. Mammographers play an important part in early cancer detection by producing high-quality mammograms to identify signs of cancer. How to become a Mammographer (Senior Radiographer) Mammographers are CORU-registered Radiographers with 3 years full-time (or an aggregate of 3 years) post-qualification clinical experience. PostGraduate Mammography Qualification: Radiographers in BreastCheck will hold or be in training for a recognised postgraduate qualification in mammography and will achieve the award within one year of taking up a post with the programme. Appointed candidates must undertake a 1-year specialist Post-Graduate Qualification in Mammography if they are not currently in receipt of this qualification. Training will be supported and financed by National Screening Service . The aims of a specific course of study in mammography are to develop a high level of practical expertise in mammography; a sound theoretical knowledge of breast imaging, diagnosis and treatment; and critical evaluation and judgement skills. These outcomes will enable the radiographer to become a skilled practitioner of mammographic technique and an active member of the multidisciplinary team. Important to Note: Mammography (MSc) - Entry requirements - Please note for International Candidates: You will be required to provide evidence of English language competence at IELTS 7 (no less than 6.5 in any element) or equivalent. Budget Management Coordinator
OVERALL, ROLE OBJECTIVE: The Budget Management Coordinator will report to the Budget Management Team Lead and their role is to support the Business Development and Project Services Teams by providing office-based resource to assist with the maintenance and budget management of quotes. The main objective of this position is maintenance and effective budget reporting on global technical proposals and to manage budgets throughout the lifecycle of the quote generation process. This enables the Business Development team to concentrate on new business and global technical proposals. JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: The post holder will: Be responsible for financial and contractual budget oversight for the life cycle of a project, from quote award to close out. Maintain Budget Tracking in appropriate Systems. Consult with other departments and other Almac Clinical Services sites to ensure that the quotes are accurate and are based on the scope of work outlined within the quote and are clearly understood. Analyse and validate quotes and budgetary changes and provide appropriate commentary to Project Managers and Customers to support the overall budget value. Proactively communicate budgetary issues to internal parties. Analyse data using Excel formulae, pivot tables, V look ups, QlikView analytics solution and Power BI reports, Work cross-functionally with many departments to fulfil internal and external requests. Be assigned to specific clients based on the request from the field sales team to monitor spend versus last approved version of the quotes – be proactive in gathering the requirements from internal departments detailing all the information to allow the Proposal Development Coordinator to review and update the quote, and route to the client for approval. Review monthly reports from Finance, for example, out of scope quotes and conduct an analysis. Be proactive and engage with project services and other internal departments to gather the requirements needed to initiate a request for an updated version by the Proposal Development Coordinator Attend and engage in scheduled project team meetings as required. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree Qualification (Finance or Business Degree) or equivalent OR Extensive pharmaceutical experience EXPERIENCE Demonstrate ability to process and analyse complex data. Experience of analysing data KEY SKILLS Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages (to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Proven ability in building and maintaining internal customer relationships.
