You will accurately record and report maintenance tasks, investigate equipment failures, and liaise with external contractors for timely calibrations. What you’ll be doing: As Political Affairs & Communications Specialist, you’ll support ABI Ireland’s efforts to influence policy, build strategic relationships, and raise public awareness around brain health and neuro-rehabilitation. Your key responsibilities will include: · Building relationships with political stakeholders and engaging grassroots advocates through our local services. · Coordinating site visits and events to promote political engagement. · Establishing a national advocacy group to support public affairs and policy consultations. · Leveraging political structures (e.g. PQs, committees, debates, budget cycles) to advance campaign priorities. · Collaborating with NGOs and representative bodies on sectoral campaigns. · Monitoring political developments and managing lobbying returns.
