Ref No.: HRJOB11243 Business Unit: Pharma Services Location : Charnwood, Loughborough Open To: Internal and external candidates About The Role As a Calibration Engineer within Almac Pharma Services, based at our Charnwood site, you will play a key role in supporting a GMP‑compliant calibration programme across a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for carrying out calibration, verification, adjustment and repair of a wide range of instrumentation and specialist equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, company procedures and regulatory requirements. The role involves both hands‑on technical work and structured documentation, with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and compliance. Working closely with Engineering and site stakeholders, you will investigate and resolve calibration‑related issues, contribute to instrument criticality assessments, support new equipment installation, and ensure calibration schedules, records and reference standards are maintained to a high standard. To achieve this, the successful candidate will be expected to assume a guiding role on a daily basis within the assigned clinical area.
