The Role: This role is all about helping to make a difference through retail. About You: Under the direction of the Store Manager, you will assist in the management of the day-to-day operation of the retail store at MediCare Forestside so as to maximise the shop counter turnover. Good management requires the practice and application of the MediCare rules and procedures as set out in the Branch Procedures Manual. Patient/Customer satisfaction must be at the forefront of your concern. Every patient/customer is to be treated as an individual and provided with high-quality service in terms of courtesy, kindness, interest and efficiency. Duties: - Supporting all operational tasks as required - Opening and Closing Store as per rota - Banking duties - Ensuring Customer Care is a priority within the Store - In absence of management, dealing with exchanges and refunding of goods Essential Criteria: GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) – Grades A-C. A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a retail environment. IT Literate – proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Applicants should be able to demonstrate numeracy and accuracy skills required for the retail environment and have an excellent time-keeping and attendance record. Desirable Criteria: Previous experience in a similar role in a retail pharmacy environment, experience understanding and selling of premium perfume, cosmetics and skincare agencies, experience using an EPOS till and ordering system.
