This is an opportunity to join a team that plays an integral role in improving service quality, systems, and processes at both service and organizational levels. As the Community Clinical Partner, you will report to the Regional Head of Clinical Support Services and be responsible for providing support and clinical oversight in each assigned service to ensure compliance with organizational clinical policy and procedures, statutory and legislative requirements, and standards. You will be responsible for supporting consistent service provision through evidence-based decision-making and learning. Operating under a social model of disability, you will ensure the highest standards of care are delivered to meet the physical, psychological, and social needs of individuals with physical and neurological disabilities receiving Cheshire Ireland services. As part of the Eastern Community Team, you will provide support with clinical assessments and promote a culture of professional development for all staff in the region. The ideal candidates will have a relevant nursing qualification, a minimum of one year of experience operating at CNM1 level within the disability or healthcare sector, and a commitment to rights-based person-centred services. You will have experience in the delivery of staff training and in the development and implementation of policy and procedures. Ideally, you will have experience in an environment focused on physical and neurological conditions in a management capacity and be able to engage with all stakeholders. You will have experience conducting audits, evaluations, incident reviews, and/or investigations, as well as strong analytical and report writing skills. Good communication skills and the ability to identify and assess issues and propose solutions are also essential. These roles will involve travel, and as such, the candidate will need to have a current driver’s license, their own vehicle, and be willing to travel for work. Behaviour Therapist
Role: Behaviour Therapist – Person Centred Wing Location: The successful candidate will have the choice of working in Tullamore, Mullingar or Monasterevin Tenure: Permanent (Full-time) - 78 hours per fortnight The successful candidate will become a key member of an evolving psychological services team led by the Principal Psychology Manager. The post will involve close collaborative working with the Senior Psychologist. The post holder will contribute to developing interdisciplinary supports for people in receipt of services from the clinical supports team in Laois/Offaly/Longford/Meath and Westmeath. The post holder will provide psychological supports to a broad range of individuals with intellectual disabilities, Autism and mental health concerns. The office base is negotiable - Tullamore, Mullingar or Monasterevin. This is an exciting new service development within the Muiriosa Foundation. We are establishing an interdisciplinary team to provide psychological supports to the Person Centred Wing. The person appointed will work as part of the psychology team and in close collaboration with other clinicians in providing psychological assessment, formulation and a range of interventions to supports to adults with intellectual disabilities and Autistic adults with high support needs. The Muiriosa Foundation promotes a human rights-based approach. Behaviour Therapists develop evidence-informed, and values led, interventions collaboratively with the person supported under the supervision of Senior Psychologists. Behaviour therapists base Interventions on a comprehensive assessment of each person’s strengths, needs and within the context of their environment. Although the post is for normal office hours, the successful candidate will be committed to a high degree of flexibility.
