Job Summary: We are currently recruiting 3rd Year Motor Mechanic apprentices as part of our Enhanced Apprenticeship Academy Program. This is a part of the four-year apprenticeship offered in conjunction with SOLAS and involves both on and off the job training. Once successfully complete, the apprentice will be awarded a QQI level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in Motor Mechanics. This role is offered on a 4-day work week schedule. The Organisational Development, Strategy and Performance Directorate is responsible for the delivery of a range of services, Human Resources being one. The Human Resources Apprentice will work across and become involved within the plethora of activities undertaken and managed by the Human Resources Department, ranging from recruitment and selection, attendance management, employee relations, policy development, supporting other directorates on workforce planning and our HR Systems. The apprentice will work across the HR team under the mentorship of the HR Business Partner Team. Subject to satisfactory performance and completion of the CIPD Level 3 Certificate in People Management, the apprentice will be offered an HR Assistant role in the HR&OD Directorate, and there may be opportunities to progress within the HR Department to meet ongoing business requirements. Purpose and Function of Post Apprenticeship schemes are a great opportunity to combine learning, training and work experience. The post holder will be required to complete a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Level 3 Certificate in People Practice.
