Mini Digi Hubs Project Officer
The purpose of the post is to assist in driving the €583,000 (Euros) project towards achieving required outputs and the project objective in line with Council priorities. The project objective is to promote the development and adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, enhancing the efficiency and interconnectedness of community and business operations. This will involve managing capital investment into the development of Comber Community Centre to ensure it is fit for purpose to be used as a Digi Hub. It will also include the procurement and management of delivery, of an IoT solution for the purposes of setting Comber Community Centre up as an exemplar of IoT. Following installation of the IoT solution a contract or contracts will be procured and managed to provide workshops, mentoring and masterclasses to the business community hosted in Comber Community Centre. CORLANN –WEST REGION POST: PERMANET FULL-TIME TEAM MANAGER (Clinical Nurse Manager 2) CASTLEREA ADULT SERVICES (Castlerea, Ballintubber, Ballinlough, Loughglynn areas) Ref: 105629 Location: Clonard Adult Services (Castlerea, Ballintubber, Ballinlough, Loughglynn areas) The Role: The Team Manager will provide leadership and direction for the team, actively coordinating the team to ensure the development of person-centred services as agreed on the Service Plan for each Service Area. The role is full-time supernumerary. The Team Manager will support the staff teams and be responsible for the overall operational management of specified locations of the service. The successful candidates will work closely with the Service Coordinator/ Area Manager to ensure that services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner within the agreed budget, and will be proactive members of the management team. Qualifications/Experience: Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition have: A relevant 3rd level qualification in Nursing and current Live Register Certificate from NMBI And The post will be rostered on a 7-day basis. It is envisaged that the post will primarily be Monday to Friday. Contracted hours of work are flexible within the hours of 8am – 8pm. Some weekend work may occasionally be required. GALWAY Job REF: 105598 DESCRIPTION AND VISION OF SERVICES Corlann – West Region provide a community based, person centred service focusing on the needs and abilities of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The vision of the service is to support people with intellectual disabilities to achieve a full and valued life in their community, in line with best practice both nationally and internationally. Working in partnership with each person supported by services, and their family and communities, we aim to create opportunities for people supported by services to have ordinary life experiences and to be closely connected to family and friends. We are committed to supporting people to live a life of their choosing, and the provision of quality services to meet the needs of the people we support. Orchard Adult Services provide a range of community based servicesincluding day, residential, respite, community outreach, family support and a range of multidisciplinary support services. People are supported in various types of day settings – day centres, supported employment, social and micro enterprises, training and education and these can be in groups or individualised. People are supported in residential settings in their own homes in the community individually and in groups with different staffing support levels depending on their levels of disability. Our Services are person centred focusing on the needs and abilities of adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. Our focus going forward is to form a relationship/partnership with each individual and their family and communities, supporting people to plan and direct their own service so that they can enjoy a life with a healthy balance of supports. We wish to create opportunities for people who use our service to have valued social roles in their communities and to form friendships. The appointee will initially commence working in one particular area of Orchard services and this work location may change due to future service needs. The Role: Staff Nurses and Enhanced Staff Nurses fulfil a key worker supportive and advocative role for adults supported by the service in all aspects of their lives, focusing on each individual’s ability and promoting independence and development of skills at all times. The Staff Nurse and Enhanced Staff Nurse will assist people with the development of person-centred plans and critically, will support people to make informed choices and fulfil their potential. They will encourage participation in the community through inclusive and creative thinking, seek opportunities for new experiences and encourage positive risk taking in leading to informed choices. Experience: Experience and an appreciation of the responsibilities of the post and issues affecting the everyday lives of individuals with an Intellectual Disability is desirable.
