Duty Manager

Main Purpose of Post/Job Summary: Responsible for the day to day management of staff and the efficient operation of the designated facility/facilities and surrounding grounds to ensure the highest standards of staff/customer safety, cleanliness, administration, care and excellence are maintained, in accordance with agreed safety and quality standards. Responsible for programming a varied timetable of activities that achieve income targets as required and ensuring compliance to expenditure budgets. Location and Transferability: Post 1: Location is Newry Leisure Centre, Newry Post 2: Location is Kilkeel Leisure Centre* *Kilkeel Leisure Centre is to undergo a refurbishment and as such will be closed for a temporary period whilst these works are undertaken. These posts will be temporarily based at alternative locations during the refurbishment—either Newry Leisure Centre or Down Leisure Centre depending on service needs. The permanent base will be Kilkeel Leisure Centre once the refurbishment is complete. The post holder may be required to transfer to other locations in accordance with any requirements stated in the Job Description, any reviews of service delivery or other requirements as may arise from time to time. Any amendments made to work location will be implemented following appropriate consultation and provision of reasonable notice.
